Mini First Aid offers a range of classes across the UK for all the family; parents, grandparents, carers and for children as young as three years old, training them in basic and life-saving first aid.
Mini First Aid trainer for North Warwickshire, Coventry, Tamworth & surrounding areas. Having worked in busy environments as a retail manager for over 10 years, Emily has come face to face with many situations where first aid has been critical in helping members of the public. Now Mum to two young children, Emily is passionate about working with parents & carers to give them the skills and confidence to know what to do in the event of an accident or emergency.
I cannot recommend Mini First Aid enough. Kate ran a private class for me and my 11 year old daughter in the comfort of our own home, which was perfect especially as my babies are due any day now. My daughter and I feel much more confident in knowing what to do in a range of emergency situations and I also got some extra twin tips from Kate as a fellow twin Mum! It's such an important life skill that every parent and carer should have so I would urge you to book a Mini First Aid course today.
I have just attended this class and it thought it was fantastic. I can’t believe I have a two year old and it took me until now to learn some potentially life saving skills. I have come away feeling more confident and so much better placed to deal with something as common as choking, for example. I would certainly recommend this class to anyone especially those with children in their care. It is a friendly and welcoming environment and reasonably priced too, you will take away truly invaluable skills.
It was a pleasure meeting Kate and Jacky from Mini First Aid and being taught what to do in case of an emergency. Learning CPR and what to do when a child is choking is invaluable. Obviously, I hope I never had to use the things I learned in today’s class, but horrible things happen and knowing these techniques can really make a huge difference. The class was fun and accessible given the seriousness of the topic. I would highly recommend everyone doing it.
Without question the wisest £20 I’ve spent on our children. Emily made the more grueling topics approachable and covered a huge amount efficiently in the two hours. I hope not to need much of what I learned today but feel more confident about what to do should I be faced with a medical emergency. Thank you!
There are a gazillion things I never seem to get around to doing (fixing the broken blind in our bedroom, getting some photos printed of ‘the baby’ who is almost two but still doesn’t exist on our walls, pinning down the coffee date I’ve been promising my neglected friend via WhatsApp for at least 6 months…) BUT this morning I finally got my arse in gear and ticked off something from my ‘Really Must Do’ list by attending a First Aid class designed specifically for parents, grandparents and carers of babies and young children. It took just two hours out of my morning and covered a whole host of stuff including what to do if a child is choking, how to deal with burns/breaks/bleeding and the basics of life-saving CPR for kids.
I attended a course ran by Emily yesterday. The course was exceptionally helpful at updating my knowledge of baby first aid and CPR. A very hands on experience with the use of baby and child mannequins which I found to be beneficial at backing up the theory side of the mini course. Covered the main concern areas of first aid and CPR, including choking. Emily was friendly, helpful and was able to answer questions posed. Highly recommended and highlighted the importance of knowing these life skills if you have close links to children.
